KENT—Kent Barns is preparing for its new season of Second Saturdays, which begin May 11. During the events, which continue until October, the shopping complex located just off Main Street hosts workshops, pop-ups and demonstrations that change each month.

There is always live music and local growers and artisans present a selection of regionally sourced flowers, food, and wares at outside markets. The shops, galleries and eateries are prepared with new exhibitions and inventory.

Featured are the Kent Flower Market at RT Facts, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; the Community Farmers Market and Swyft Shop Art Galleries and Shops, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and live music under the big maple tree, noon to 3 p.m.
