Chabrian named finalist in plein air art competition

KENT—Deborah Chabrian has had two of her paintings selected as finalists in the March Plein Air Salon Art Competition from PleinAir Magazine. The paintings are “Kuerner’s Farm at Sunset,” which was chosen in the Best Buildings category, and “Newton’s Farmhouse,” selected in the Best Plein Air Watercolor category.

Chabrian writes that the paintings reflect “my love of time spent observing old structures and the quiet subtlety of nature.”
