KENT—Kent Memorial Library is always ready to celebrate life’s little moments, and it will recognize the joy of summer recess from school Thursday, June 13, at 1:15 p.m. when it offers kids Last Day of School Popsicles. All ages are welcome, and there is no need to register.

Two days later the library will help youngsters get ready to celebrate Father’s Day. There will be a Father’s Day Storytime Saturday, June 15 at 11 a.m. in the Junior Room.

The children can also make a gift for dad. All ages are welcome to participate. Registration is appreciated, by calling 860-927-3761 or email the Junior Room to register.

Friday, June 21 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. there will be a Summer Reading Kick-Off Party. Come by the Junior Room to find out about all the events and activities the library has to offer this summer as part of Adventure Begins at Your Library. Pick up the first BINGO sheet, do a craft, have a snack, play some games and have some fun. Kids of all ages are welcome to participate.  Registration opens June 21 for Library Camp for kids entering K-4th Grade (parents must register for each individual week as space is limited).

Library Camp is held Wednesdays in July, 2 to 4 p.m. Registration is required. Library Camp is a drop-off program with stories, games, crafts, snacks, special guests, and more. Camp will be meeting in the Junior Room of the library. Registration opens at the Summer Reading Program kick-off party on June 21 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., or register by calling or emailing the Junior Room after June 18.
