KENT—The Gingerbread Festival is back, bringing holiday cheer and the irresistible scent of gingerbread to town. Participating businesses are displaying 13 imaginative gingerbread creations this year.

Masterful creations, such as this Gingerbread Festival entry, are on display throughout Kent’s business district through December. There are 13 houses on display this year and a Scavenger Hunt at 23 local businesses. Photo contributed.

Embark on a festive scavenger hunt by collecting clues at each gingerbread display to decipher the riddle. Once solved, bring the completed riddle to oHHo, 27 North Main Street, No.1, to claim a prize. Visitors are invited to vote for their favorite creation and help crown the winner of the People’s Choice Award.

These edible masterpieces will be on display Thursday through Sunday throughout the month of December, offering visitors plenty of opportunities to experience the magic. Pick up a map at one of the 23 businesses participating in the hunt and start searching.
