Final weekend of holiday merriment in Sherman

SHERMAN—Christmas is closing in on us and Sherman is approaching its last weekend of holiday merriment.

The Sherman Players’ “Winter Wonderettes” final performances at the Sherman Playhouse, 5 Route 39 North,will be this weekend Friday, Dec. 20, and Saturday, Dec. 21. 

The Sherman Library, 1 Sherman Center, is also continuing its show by Sherman Artists through Jan. 8, featuring artists that participated in the Open Studios 2024 

Great Hollow, 225 Route 37, New Fairfield, has a Winter Solstice Hike Saturday, Dec 21, and the JCC Community Hanukkah, 9 Route 39 South, party is Sunday, Dec. 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. 

In addition, the Sherman Historical Society Old Store, 10 Route 37, has extended hours for holiday shopping.
