WARREN—It’s been a bad year for winter sports enthusiasts, but Warren Selectman Dave Schneiderbeck promises that, if there is snow, there will be snowshoeing in the Warren Land Trust’s Cunningham Nature Preserve.

Snowshoeing is planned, so long as there is snow, for Jan. 21, Feb. 17 and March 2 at 10 a.m. each day.

Schneiderbeck, a WLT board member, will lead snowshoers over approximately one mile of flat terrain in a walk to Finney Monument and back.

Participants, who should bring their own equipment, should park at the cul-de-sac at the end of the paved portion of Cunningham Road.

Children are welcome (parents should use their judgement as to appropriate age and ability). Dogs on leashes are also welcome.

Registration is not required but appreciated.
