KENT—The Kent Art Association’s Fall Juried Show show opened last week and runs through Saturday, Nov. 2.

Linda Hubbard’s “Last Leaves” was awarded Best Photograph in the Kent Art Association’s Fall Juried Show, which is on view through Nov. 2.

Sculptor Conrad Levenson spoke during the opening reception about his processes and the inspirations for his work. Levenson salvages scrap materials and obsolete objects and repurposes them into works of art incorporating balance and motion.

The sculptures range in size from the intimate to large scale installations.

The KAA has his sculptures on display in front of the KAA this year.

In other KAA news, the gallery is looking for volunteers in a variety of capacities.

Those interested in learning more, should contact the association by phone at 860-927-3989 or by email at kentartassociation@gmail.com.

The association was formed in 1923 and is one of the state’s oldest art associations.

It is located at 21 South Main St. For more information, visit www.kentart.org
