KENT—John Milnes Baker will preview his new video, “The Case for Edward de Vere,” exploring the issue of whether William Shakespeare—a grammar-school-level scholar from Stratford-on-Avon—could have been the true author of so many immortal plays in program at the Kent Library, Thursday, Sept. 26, at 6:30 p.m.
Baker, an architect, author and former New School University adjunct professor, explores the authorship question based on the writings of Mark Twain’s last controversial published work, “Is Shakespeare Dead?” The book explores the authorship question through satire, anecdotes and extensive quotations from contemporary authors on the subject.
The library is located at 32 Main St.
