Historic Gaylordsville sites will be open to visitors Sundays in July and August from 2pm to 4pm. The sites include the Gaylord School (longest continuously operating one room School in CT from 1740 to 1967), Brown’s Forge , and Merwinsville Hotel.  The Schoolhouse is located on Gaylord Rd. The Hotel and Forge on Brown’s Forge Road.
