WASHINGTON, CT—The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens invites the community to the opening of its weekly farmers market Saturday, May 25. The farmers market will run every Saturday at the park from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. through Nov. 23.

Vendors will offer locally grown, raised and prepared food in addition to other handmade products. To celebrate the first market of the season, there will be live music by Tom Scarola. Live music at the market this year is made possible by the generosity of Sarah Gager and Roy O’Neil. A children’s activity will also be available for children.

The park is located 1 Green Hill Road.
