Washington Art Association opens members show

WASHINGTON, Conn.—The Washington Art Association opens its 2025 Members Show Saturday, March 15, with a reception from 4 to 6 p.m. The show will hang until April 26 in the WAA gallery, 4 Bryan Plaza, Washington Depot. 

Art lovers are invited to view the Washington Art Association 2025 Members Show, which will run from March 15 through April 26. The opening reception will be Saturday, March 15, from 4 to 6 p.m. Photo contributed

The works will be available for viewing Wednesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays, noon to 4 p.m.

Juror for the show is Jane Coats Eckert, owner of Eckert Fine Art. Her roots are in 19th and 20th American art on which she wrote and lectured about during her early years in the Midwest. 

Eckert has worked with some of the country’s finest Post War and Contemporary artists including Christo, John Chamberlain, Julian Stanczyk, Robert Indiana and James Rosenquist. 

In Eckert Fine Art’s new location in Washington Depot, CT, she continues to focus on these artists as well as Sol LeWitt, James Turrell, Don Gummer, Hunt Slonem, Chizuru Morii Kaplan, Robert Cottingham and is the exclusive representative of the realist painter, Eric Forstmann.
