SHARON, Conn. —The Sharon Playhouse has announced its 2025 season lineup, with performances that span May through December.

The 2025 MainStage lineup will kick off June 20 and run through July 6 with the musical hit “Million Dollar Quartet,” with direction and musical staging by Greg Santos.

It will be followed by the classic family musical, “Annie,” from July 26 to Aug. 10. It will be directed by Artistic Director Carl Andress, with choreography by Krystyna Resavy and music direction by Eric Thomas Johnson.

Next up, from Aug. 29 to Sept. 7, will be A.R. Gurney’s comedy “Sylvia,” directed by Colin Hanlon.

Then, ringing in the fall, Sept. 26 to Oct. 5, will be the whodunit, “The Mousetrap,” by Agatha Christie, directed by Andrus Nichols.

Casting by ARC, a prominent Broadway casting office, will take place at a later date.

The playhouse will celebrate the start of the 2025 season with its annual Spotlight Gala Saturday, May 31, honoring Sharon Playhouse Board President Emily Soell.

The season will also feature a special benefit staged reading of “Love Letters” by A.R. Gurney on Feb. 15 just in time for Valentine’s weekend. It will star Gretchen Mol and Campbell Scott.

On Sept. 12, the Playhouse will welcome back Charles Busch, starring in a special staged reading of his comedy “Die, Mommie, Die!.”

The fifth annual presentation of Writers Playground, a 10-minute play festival of new works by local playwrights, will take place Sept. 18-19.

The season concludes with a soon-to-be named holiday title presented in December by the YouthStage Company.

Tickets are $25-$55 for all performances.
