KENT, Conn.—The Kent Memorial Library will hold a “Meet Your Monger” cheese tasting Sunday, March 23, at 4 p.m., with New Curds on the Block.

Join cheesemonger Kate Truini-Redin of New Curds on the Block cheese shop for a taste of Connecticut’s dairy history and learn what to look for and what questions to ask when visiting a cheese counter.

New Curds on the Block is an all-American cheese shop in Oakville, Conn., that carries exclusively cheeses made in the Northeast. Truini-Redin works directly with cheesemakers and farmers to source fresh and seasonal products.

There is a suggested donation of $5 to benefit the library. Register here.
