Senior Center, Historical Society will host program on Kent School

KENT—The Kent Senior Center and the Kent Historical Society will host a program about the history of Kent School April 17 at 11 a.m.

Katy Armstrong, archivist at Kent School’s library, whose grandfather, William Armstrong, taught at the school, has extensive knowledge of the school’s history. Joining her will be Louisa LaFontan, whose great-uncle, Fr. Frederick Sill, founded the school. 

Seniors are encouraged to share their experiences as well.

Advance reservations are requested by calling 860-927-2055 or emailing ssassist@townofkentct.org.

The program will be held at the Kent Senior Center, 16 Swifts Lane.
