The tax becomes delinquent Feb. 2. As soon it is delinquent, it is subject to interest at the rate of 1.5 percent per month from Jan. 1 until the bill is paid.

Bills may be viewed and paid online by visiting the Tax Collector’s page.

Two options are available for online payment: credit card or electronic check.

The Tax Collector’s office is open Mondays through Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. at town hall on Kent Green. A red drop box next to the town hall’s front door is available for payments.

Payments are also welcome through the mail at P. 0. Box 311, Kent, CT 06757.
