Scofield Takes Best in Show at KAA

KENT—Heather Scofield won Best in Show in the Kent Art Association’s Fall Juried Show for her painting “Housatonic Harmony.”

The Patricia Anne Stockdale Memorial Award for Best Fiber Art was awarded to Karen Eckmeier for her quilt art, “Jungle Flowers.” And the Judy J Grabe Memorial Award for Best Floral Painting went to Barbara Rippsfor her pastel,“Awakenings.” Linda Hubbard captured the award for her photo, “Stillness.”
Honorable Mentions went to Brian Johnston, Carol Moore, Karen Bahrenburg and Mary Terrizzi.

Muriel Stockdale and Chris Grabe were the judges.

The show has now been extended one week, until Saturday, Dec. 2, when the gallery will be open until 8 p.m. for the Kent Holiday Festival.
