FALLS VILLAGE—Region 1 schools are seeking community input regarding a new school superintendent.

Superintendent Lisa Carter announced her retirement in October 2023, and will be leaving June 30.

Community members are invited to share their views and participate in the search process through an online survey that is live until Feb. 2.

Mary Broderick, a consultant working with the Search Committee, is overseeing the survey and has conducted a series of focus groups this month to gauge the community’s perspectives on the qualities, experiences and characteristics desired in a new superintendent.
