Recreation Aide Sought

KENT—The Park & Rec Commission is seeking candidates for the position of recreation aide.

The part-time position would work in the After School Program, under the direction of the program’s director, Monday through Friday, at Kent Center School from after the time school dismisses until 5:30 p.m. 

Tasks include working with children in indoor and outdoor activities, helping with daily snack time, both team-building and positive-interaction activities, and homework time for the students.

Listed at 10 to 20 hours a week, additional work may be required overseeing activities and assisting in the coordination of organized sports, programs or special events. The full job description is here.
