KENT—The Kent Memorial Library, will offer a couple of events designed just for children and youths on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 17 and 18.

Friday evening, 6 to 7:30 p.m. there will be a Teen & Tween Quiz Night in the Junior Room. Youngsters can either come with a team or join one at the library. The event is for Grades 5 and up.

On Saturday, from 2 to 3 p.m., the ImaginInk Initiative program offers creative writing for kids. Through ImaginInk, kids learn to channel their creativity and find joy in writing, express their ideas in a collaborative safe space and develop lifelong skills for grade school and beyond.

This peer-led creative writing group is an initiative put on by Kent School volunteers and is intended for school-aged children.

Registration for both programs is appreciated by calling 860-927 3761 or email to register. The library is located at 32 North Main St.
