KENT, Conn.—Singer/songwriter George Potts will present a solo online concert Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 7 to 9 p.m. through the auspices of NJ’s Folk Project @folkproject.
Fans can grab the beverage of their choice and join him for some tunes from his album, “Ends & Odds,” as well as some new songs written in the past year.
“Ends & Odds,” gained critical acclaim and a top-20 spot on the folk charts. Recorded at home during the pandemic, the songs depict an array of American places, people and emotions.
A singer, guitarist and bassist, Potts has been an integral part of Northwestern Connecticut’s music scene for four decades, most notably performing with The Joint Chiefs, vocalist Wanda Houston and the legendary pianist Dolph Traymon when he played nightly at the Fife ‘n Drum Restaurant in Kent.
