Portraits of Kent

Deborah is the editor, writer and photographer for the Town of New Milford’s tourism and community website, NewMilfordNow. Most recently, Deborah was the featured February artist at New Milford’s Gallery 25 and Creative Arts Studio. Her photography will be featured through March 11.

The following images are her “Portraits Of Kent.”

The town of Kent is home to three boarding schools, including Kent School, South Kent School and Marvelwood School. Above is Kent School’s athletic field.
Residents and visitors of Kent will find an assortment of business, art, dining, entertainment and more.
The Kent Conservation Commission works with DEEP, the Kent Land Trust and other partners to provide hiking trail maps, including those for the Appalachian Trail, which runs through Kent.
The town-owned Swift House, purchased by the Swift family of Sandwich, Mass., in 1743, is a staple on Maple Street.
Winter brings new perspectives, even along the tracks.
Several farms dot Bulls Bridge Road in South Kent, like this one, as well as throughout town.
The Housatonic River winds through Kent.
