NCLC offers free annual picnic in Sherman

SHERMAN—The beauty of fall will be embraced at Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy’s (NCLC) Annual Picnic on Saturday, Sept. 21, at noon. The free event will be held at the Hadlow Preserve in Sherman, which offers one of the region’s most stunning scenic vistas.

Participants are invited to an afternoon filled with fall colors, exciting games, kite flying, and a leisurely hike through the landscape. With long views into the Berkshire foothills, the Hadlow Preserve provides a spectacular backdrop for the community gathering.

Hadlow Preserve is located at 9 Cozier Hill Rd., Sherman, with the entrance 0.3 mile east of Route 37 or 0.8 mile west of Route 39.

This event is open to all and celebrates the spirit of the season with an array of activities designed for all ages.
