Land Trust will hold All-Earth Day restoration workday

KENT—Kent Land Trust will hold an All-Earth Day Stewardship Restoration Workday and e-Bird blitz April 20 at 9 a.m. Participants should meet at the Claire Murphy Riverwalk, where KLT has been restoring the habitat of waterfowl by removing invasive plants and replacing them with beneficial natives. 

Wear sturdy, waterproof footwear and weather appropriate clothes. Bring a water bottle, pruners and loppers.

KLT’s Claire Murphy Riverwalk is at 170 Kent Road. The event is free and open to the public. This activity is for ages 10 and older. Registration is required to communicate weather-related changes.
