KENT, Conn. — ImaginInk, a peer-led creative writing group for kids, will meet in the Junior Room of the Kent Memorial Library Saturday, Nov. 16, from 2 to 3 p.m.

The initiative is run by Kent School volunteers who want to share their passion for writing and encourage creativity in younger kids.

Through ImaginInk, children will learn to channel their creativity and find joy in writing, express their ideas in a collaborative safe space, and develop lifelong skills for grade school and beyond.

Kent School student volunteers will lead activities such as creative writing practice exercises, reading and analyzing poems and short stories, and other activities.

This program is intended for school-aged children in grades 2 and up.

For more information about the program at the 32 North Main St. library, or to register, call 860-927-3761 or email kmljuniorroom@biblio.org.
