KENT—KAA and the Kent Memorial Library invite all to a free bi-monthly artist film series.

The first film, “Kusama: Infinity,” will be shown Thursday, Feb. 27, at 6:30 p.m. at the library, 32 North Main Street.

“I come up with new ideas,” Yayoi Kusama says early in the film, “and my canvas cannot keep up with me.” Learn about Kusama’s artist vision and her struggle with racism, sexism and mental health issues as she rises to international fame.

Attendees may bring their own drink of choice and any snacks. Register to attend at the Kent Memorial Library website or call 860-927-3761.

Formed in 1923, the Kent Art Association builds networks and promotes the works of local artists through shows and events hosted in its historic building and gallery. Located at 21 South Main St., KAA is a non-profit community organization. Visit www.kentart.org.
