KENT—An Honor Guard procession will take place Saturday, Feb. 3, to escort the body of Robert “Bob” Bauer from the Kent Volunteer Fire Department headquarters on Maple Ave. up Main Street to the First Congregational Church of Kent, where funeral services will take place.

The procession will leave the firehouse at 10:30 a.m. and head up Main Street, arriving at the church by 11 o’clock.

Townspeople are invited to line the street to pay their respects to Bauer, 98, who was a longtime, dedicated, community member and volunteer firefighter.
