Firefly Environmental Arts Project launches Feb. 21

MILLBROOK, NY—The Millbrook School will host the Firefly Environmental Arts Project launch Friday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m.

In case of inclement weather, the snow date is Sunday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Eileen Fielding, director of the Sharon Audubon Center, who will speak about environmental and sustainability issues.

Additionally, Marvelwood School students will present “Purple Martins: Passing the Generational Torch,” a program about efforts to ensure the birds’ survival in Connecticut and beyond.

A collaborative art exhibit will showcase nature-inspired works by both professional and aspiring student artists.

The school is located at 131 Millbrook School Road.
