Fire department announces annual ball

KENT—“At a Moment’s Notice” is this year’s theme for the annual Kent Firemen’s Ball, set for June 8.

The Kent Volunteer Fire Department have announced that its annual Firemen’s Ball, centered on the theme “At a Moment’s Notice,” is planned for June 8. Photo contributed

Doors open at 6 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres, followed by buffet dinner service at 7 p.m. Mixers and ice will be provided for beverages brought by guests.

Committee Chair Caralee Rochovansky said, “We will have mouthwatering hors d’oeuvres, a scrumptious dinner menu, live music with Those Guys, an all-time favorite five-piece band, the Grand March, a silent auction and more.”

Online reservations for individuals or tables of 12 are being accepted at $50 per person at www.kentfire.org. Advanced registration and payment are strongly encouraged. 

Admission is $60 at the door if no reservation has been made. 

Send checks to KVFD Firemen’s Ball, PO Box 355, Kent, CT 06757. Be sure to note the check is for the Firemen’s Ball.
