With a career spanning over four decades, Eberhardt has left and continues to leave an indelible mark on the American music scene. He is known as a masterful storyteller and musician who creates soul-stirring lyrics.

Eberhardt has released 10 albums, tours as a solo act and also performs with his friends John Gorka, Patty Larkin, Lucy Kaplansky and Cheryl Wheeler. This group was originally put together by fellow musician and friend, Christie Lavin, and they call their shows “On A Winter’s Night” or, as the case may be, “On A Summer’s Night.”

“I am so incredibly excited that Merryall is hosting Cliff Eberhardt,” said Nick Petrone, a frequent Merryall Center performer, fellow singer-songwriter and the person who put Eberhardt on the center’s radar.

“Whether Cliff’s performing with his musical tribe or alone on stage, his humor, intensity and pure genius captures you from the very first note. His concerts are like a master class in songwriting. Lyrically he is pure poetry. Melodically, he’s admired and envied by the greatest musicians,” Petrone added.

Merryall Center is located at 8 Chapel Hill Rd., New Milford. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door and are available online at www.merryallcenter.org.
