KENT—Craven Contemporary, 4 Fulling Lane, will hold an opening reception for Chad Etting’s “Men’s Wear” March 23 from 3 to 5 p.m.

“Men’s Wear” is a new body of work by Etting that on focuses on 16 figurative works that feature instantly recognizable men’s wardrobe staples such as colorful chore jackets, New Balance sneakers, a Baracuta jacket, cuffed chinos and a Champion crewneck sweatshirt. In “Men’s Wear” Etting provides viewers with space to reconsider their relationship with their closets, personal history and modern advertising.

The exhibit runs through March 31.
