Collection preservation program is slated for Sherman Library

SHERMAN—Join the Sherman Library, 1 Sherman Center, for “Protect and Preserve: Approaching an Art Archive” presented by Oliver Tobin on Saturday, May 11, at 11 a.m. This is an in-person program at the Sherman Library.

Oliver Tobin, former director of Martha Graham Resources and a former dancer with Graham’s dance company, oversaw her extensive collection. This included costumes, production elements, images, ephemera and personal items spanning from 1894 to 2021. The collection is currently housed at its permanent home at the NYPL Dance Division.
