KENT, Conn.—Chair Yoga for Seniors with certified instructor Elaine Donahue is held Mondays at 10 a.m. at the Senior Center, 16 Swifts Lane.

All levels are welcome. There is a $5 charge, but scholarships are available.
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that uses a chair for balance. It can help people with arthritis exercise without putting pressure on joints. It can also help people who are not used to exercising improve their strength and balance.
Yoga can also help to reduce stress and promote relaxation, which can be especially beneficial for seniors who may be dealing with chronic pain or anxiety.
