Aging and Balance Workshop Tuesday

KENT—A 60-minute Aging and Balance workshop tailored for adults aged 60 and older will be held at the Kent Memorial Library, 32 North Main St., at noon on Tuesday, May 14. It will be led by Emelie Gold, DPT, PT, a certified physical therapist specializing in vestibular and concussion therapy.

The session will cover how gait and balance are affected by normal aging, and review tips/strategies to prevent falls. Following the talk, Virginia Billups, an exercise program leader certified by the Arthritis Foundation, will guide participants through an exercise routine.
