The popular event will be held at the firehouse at 28 Maple St., with drinks and hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m. and dinner starting at 7 p.m. The theme of the ball, “At A Moment’s Notice,” reflects the dedication of the first responders.

The menu is appetizers: shrimp cocktail, charcuterie board and more; entrees: roast beef with aus jus or horseradish sauce, grilled baked potatoes, sauteed brussel sprouts or chicken croquettes (minced chicken, celery and onion in a bechamel sauce shaped and deep fried), buttered noodles, and vegetable medley of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots with garlic herb butter, or ginormous pasta shells stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese covered with a marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. Dessert will be a ice cream sundae bar.

Admission sales are now available. Early bird tickets are $50 and are available until June 1. Admission at the door is $60. Reservations are strongly recommended with advanced payment. To reserve and purchase tickets online go to www.kentfire.org/ball for individuals or tables of 12.
