On the fourth Sunday of each month, the Rev. Stephen Klots, chaplain and teacher at South Kent, takes a group of students to the soup kitchen to distribute clothing that has been collected. Even with winter starting to loosen its grip, there is a need for men’s coats (not dress coats), blankets, gloves, sweatshirts, sweat pants and pants. Ninety percent of the recipients are men, although some women’s clothing is welcome.

A collection box is available in the narthex of Sacred Heart Church for donations.

For more information, Klots can be reached at klotss@southkentschool.org.
