Annual Kent Carnival returns to Golden Falcon Field

KENT—Kent Memorial Library will bring back its annual Carnival for the fifth year Saturday, Aug. 31, from noon to 4 p.m. The day will feature a Touch-a-Truck and activities such as wood working, a bookmark craft, giant bubbles, fishing, rock painting, a meet the pets, a chance to be a kid reporter and more. A DJ will provide music.

A number of nonprofit organizations are expected to partner with the library to offer booths and activities at the event.

The event will be held at the Golden Falcon Field, 20 North Main St. There is a $5 admission for families for all games.
