KAA opens Member’s Show and Mary Terrizzi Solo Show

KENT—The Kent Art Association’s will hold its Member’s Show and Mary Terrizzi’s solo show titled “Garden of Delights,” in July.

Join the KAA for the opening reception, Friday, July 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. The show is on view until Saturday, July 27. The Member’s Show consists of 30 artists working in a variety of mediums.

Terrizzi’s work blurs the lines between the tangible and the intangible. Each piece is a journey through layers of accumulated imagery, meaning and time periods, inviting viewers to explore the hidden connections and narratives within. Her love for abstraction led her to digital collage which allows her to experiment freely and push the boundaries of traditional collage. She says, “When creating artwork, I follow feeling, color, memory and intuition.” 

Viewing days and hours at KAA are Thursday through Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
