KENT—James Woodruff, one of the featured artists in the Kent Art Association’s President’s Summer Invitational Show, will present a free gallery talk about his artistic process Saturday, June 22, at 1 p.m.
The President’s Summer Invitational features five invited artists who practice in various mediums. The show is on view until Saturday, June 29. The five invited artists include Linda Filley who makes paper shoes; Barbara Graham, who works in costume design, colored pencil drawings, collage, oil and acrylic painting; Moira Kelly, whose work involves a special process of plaster, patterns and tempera pigments; Paul Neuman works in abstract collage, mixed media, and wood sculpture, and James Woodruff, who paints large oil paintings.
Viewing days and hours at KAA are Thursday through Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
