Winter and his wife, Alicia, have made Kent their home for decades, raising their sons amidst a diverse landscape of pasture, wetlands, and woodlands at the tail end of Cobble Valley.

He has volunteered for many years with KLT’s Stewardship Committee and is a frequent partner in KLT’s programs with Kent youth. Active in the community, he has also worked with the Kent Cub and Boy Scouts, Lions Club and Library Building Committee, Kent Planning and Zoning Commission, Firehouse Building Committee and Community House Renovation Committee.

Winter is the senior vice president at Andron Construction Corp and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and the Passive House Institute.

The Winters will host KLT’s annual fundraiser this Sept. 14 at Winter Farm.
