KENT—Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 17 Bridge St., one of the three churches in the Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, is again assisting Fr. Joe Cavoto in his migrant ministry in New York City with “SOCKtober.” Parishioners are asked to donate a pair or two of new socks, hats and/or gloves in child and adult sizes to the collection box located in the church. Items will be collected through the end of October.
