Two art receptions to be held Saturday, Jan. 25

KENT—The youngest artists in town will have their art displayed at the Kent Art Association, 21 S. Main Street. Preschool students from Kent Community Nursery School, Kent Center School Preschool, and Kent School Early Learning Center are participating in this community art show.

A reception will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at KAA. Family, friends, and art lovers of all ages are welcome to attend.

The gallery will be up for two weekends: Jan. 25 and 26, and Feb. 1 and 2.

Later that afternoon, Kent Memorial Library, 32 N. Main Street, will celebrate its current gallery artist, Susan Grisell, from 1 to 3 p.m. The reception is free to attend; register here.

Grisell’s “Visual Diary” show can also be viewed during normal library hours until Friday, Feb. 28.
