SHERMAN—The Sherman Players will hold open auditions to cast six actors—three women and three men to play 18 different roles — for Michael Hollinger’s comedy “Red Herring,” Sunday, June 16, and Monday, June 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Sherman Playhouse, 5 Route 39 N.

The show will be directed by Michael J. Frohnhoefer and produced by Morgana Kate Watson.

There is no need to book an audition. Sign-in at the green room at the rear of the playhouse. Auditioners should prepare a two-minute comedic monologue to work on with the director. There will also be cold readings from the script.

Auditioners should also bring a resume and headshot if available.

“Red Herring” will run Sept. 6 to 28, with performances on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday matinees.
