Sherman Artists plan to open studios, exhibit at library

SHERMAN—The Sherman Library will open the Sherman Artists Association Open Studios Show with a reception Friday, Nov. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The show will be at the 1 Sherman Center library from through Jan. 8. The artwork will also be on the Sherman Library website.

It will feature samples of artists’ artwork that will be included in Sherman Artists Association Open Studio event to be held Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7 and 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. around town.

Twenty-four artists will be meet the public in their studios, at the Sherman town hall, the Sherman Senior Center and the JCC.

They are Betsy Duckworth, Bonnie Johnson, Carolyn Cohen, Christina Maschke, Christy Bonaiuto, Cindy O’Connor, Donna Castelluccio, Doreen O’Connor, Ely Knowles, Elizabethe Bogues, Eva DeFranco, Greg Chadwick, Jaime Seymour, Karen Golden, Kenny Litwack, Linda Hubbard, Liz Rosiello, Lynn Slonaker, Mary Jane Magoon, MJ Newman, Phyllis Chadwick, Susan Grisell, Terry Pasquale and Tony Gomez.

In addition to offering an opportunity to purchase unique gifts, there will also be a free raffle, artists’ demonstrations and holiday treats.
