Part two will consist of cleaning the seeds collected last month that are to be planted as part of KLT’s Climate Smart restoration of the meadow at East Kent Hamlet Nature Preserve.

There will be a follow-up volunteer day in December to plant the seeds.

The cleaning session, to be held upstairs in the South Barn at KLT’s headquarters at 170 Kent Road, will be guided by field botanist Heather Liljengren of LocalLand Consulting.

Space is limited. The maximum for attendance is 10.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required to accommodate seating and supplies.
