Registration Underway for Youth Basketball

KENT—The Park & Rec department is offering four different basketball age groups for the 2024 season as the next step in rebuilding the program and giving children of all ages the opportunity to play and socialize.

Age groups are: Pre-K clinic (adult participation required), with six 45-minute instructional games on Mondays, 5:30-6:15 p.m.; K-grade one, four-vs.-four games on Tuesdays and Thursday, starting at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.; second and third grades, one-hour four-vs.-four games Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., and a fourth through sixth grades clinic, one-hour sessions, days and times to be announced.

The programs, which begin in January and end in March, cost $40 per child. Sign-ups are taken online only, and adjustments and discounts will be applied during checkout if applicable.
