KENT, Conn.—Laurie Doss, science department chairman at Marvelwood School, will present a webinar on promoting the purple martin population in the region on Thursday, March 20, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Participants will learn to conduct nest checks and collect data important to the management of purple martin colonies. This volunteer activity is critical to the species survival in Northwest Connecticut.
A follow-up field session at an active colony will be offered in May.
