KENT, Conn.—Kent Center School will present an original musical, “The Hang Up,” at the school on April 9 and 10.
The show will be staged April 9 and 10 at 7 p.m. each night at the Judd Avenue school.
“The Hang Up” is written by resident Kimberly Compton and features a cast of 22 students.
“The kids know that this is the first time they’re bringing these characters to life, and that makes it even more significant,” Compton said of the musical’s debut. “They are truly part of something original, fresh and never done before.”
Performances are free and open to the public.
