KENT—Peggy Mercury, 9 Maple St. Unit 2, will present an evening of Music and Makeup featuring a performance by singer/songwriter Jess Yaffa and makeup by 19/99 Saturday, Aug. 3, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Jess Yaffa, a rising New York City singer/songwriter, will perform at Peggy Mercury Saturday night.

Fresh off the stages of Bowery Electric and The Delancey in NYC, Yaffa will perform an acoustic set of original music that connects how stories are told across different mediums, whether it is through song or through makeup.

19/99 challenges conventional beauty norms and seeks to shape a new narrative where individuals can define their own image of beauty through cruelty-free, vegan formulas whether they are 19 or 99.
