Lions announce scholarship winners

KENT—The Kent Lions Club has announced its scholarship awards for 2024. High school scholarships were earned by Taylor Christen and Eason Zhang. Linnea Saxton earned the Community Service scholarship.

Applicants for the scholarship awards were required to have demonstrated serious interest in pursuing their chosen, be a Kent Center School graduate, and a senior at HVRHS, Oliver Wolcott, or a private school. Students must be planning to attend a two- or four-year post-secondary education program. The program can be degree or non-degree granting.

KCS 8th grade recognitions were awarded to Benjamin Baird and Katherine Joseph.
