KENT—“Fall into Winter,” the artwork of Christine Lombardi, will be displayed in the gallery at Kent Memorial Library from Nov. 2 through Dec. 31. An artist’s reception is slated for 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18. Register here.

Lombardi has always created art. At age 2 she discovered her love of drawing, which continues to this day. Inspired by children’s book illustrators such as Richard Scarry, Eloise Wilkin and Joan Walsh Anglund, she creates finely detailed drawings with heartwarming content, and particularly enjoys making greeting cards.

A resident of Bethel, she studied graphic design at Western Connecticut State University.
